New Online Community for Insurance Organizations
There is a new web-based community available to insurance agents called Insurance Community Center. It is described as a “community for sharing and a center for learning.”
There are two parts to the Community Center – free and paid.
The Free Community is designed for business networking, accessing resources, and searching for other insurance professions. The first step is to join and create a profile. This process is very similar to other networking type sites. Once you join you will gain access to the resources and networking available on this part of the site.
These resources include a weekly newsletter, insurance articles, an insurance glossary, a list of DOI CE requirements by state, insurance events, and a job posting board. The weekly newsletter includes Insurance Tip of the Week and Claim of the Week, along with a listing of new content added to the site.
The Insurance Community University is a paid-access area for insurance educational products such as: Audio Presentations, Insurance Checklists, Knowledge Documents, PowerPoint Presentations, Live Video Presentations, and Test and Learn Quizzes.
The annual cost for access to the University is based on the number of people in the insurance organization and starts at $350.
The Insurance Community Center was created by Laurie Zangwill Infantino (Insight Insurance Consulting);Tom Jackson (PACE 360); Marjorie Segale (Segale Consulting, LLC); and Ray Infantino (Insight Consulting and Management, Inc).
It’s definitely worth your time to create a free profile.
